In addition to the panel model, which was developed based on observations of the destruction mechanism to secure cracks resistance calculator walls struts models are used. Depending on the support and the loads the wall can be identified simple models struts wall when the concentrated load is applied (Model Type I) or rods smearedmodels (models of type II), when the walls are loaded evenly on the edge. The basic principle used in the construction of such models to minimize the number of rods, while retaining the model geometric invariance. The article is the second part of the reviewof themethods of calculation shear capacity of unreinforced masonry walls. The first part of the reader can be found in the „Materiały Budowlane”No. 4/2015 [3]. The next part will be presented experimental verification of simple equilibrium models. Keywords: masonry structures, masonry walls, stiffening wall, shear, failure criteria, equilibrium models.
