The article was based on the diploma thesis taking part in the competition "For the best diploma thesis using polyurethanes" organized by the Polish Association of Engineers and Construction Technicians Circle No. 4 at the Poznan University of Technology and the Polish Association of PUR and PIR manufacturers and processors "SIPUR". The main objectives of the study were inventory of the object, evaluation of its technical condition, design of the change of functional and utility system and modernization recommendations, especially thermal renovation of partitions in accordance with the requirements of the NF40 standard, comparing two insulation materials – mineral wool and polyurethane.
