The article defines the concept of predictive maintenance. Basis of experience from its use in production, the concept of predictivemaintenance in construction was discussed. For this purpose, the assumptions of technical management support system were used. An analysis of the opportunities and barriers of the system from the point of view of its creation and application was made. On this basis, conclusions were formulated indicating the reason of building a system using approach of predictive maintenance and its application.
