The article presents information on the selection of an appropriate system of assessment and verification of constancy of performance for self-supporting double skin metal faced insulation panels compliant fromPN-EN 14509: 2013-12. Depending of the system, the manufacturer’s scope of responsibility and the tasks of the notified body are described and potential problems with the decision to choose between system 3 and 1 for fire reaction class A, B, C. Assessment systems for sandwich panels for structural application compliant form the draft of standard EN 14509-2 are also discussed.
