Laser scanning technology offers wide possibilities for using in inventorization of buildings. It is particularly valuable for gathering data on historic buildings and rich architectural details, which documentation we try to recreate. Taking measurements by scanner is a more complicated than measurements using a laser range finder or measuring tape. However, achieved results are more precise and detailed which consequently allows the development of the drawings object and its details. In this study the terrestrial laser scanning 3D of wooden cottages in the open-air museum in Olsztynek was performed. Gathered data were developed using the engineering software. Architectural and construction documentation of the object inventory was prepared.
Keywords: inventory of architectural and construction, terrestrial laser scanning 3D, historic building, engineering software.
