Corrosion of structural steel bridge S355 depending on winter maintenance of road standard

In the article discusses the standards of the winter maintenance of roads (WMR) in Poland. The influence of WMR, on the structure of the corrosion products, which are due to effects NaCl on structural steel S355. The research was conducted on three bridges of steel structure located in Silesia Province. Objects are classified into I, II and III standard WMR. Samples are placed on the girders of selected objects for one year. After one year, the samples were tested chemical composition and topography of the surface. The research was conducted using a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
