When designing the building envelope, many different aspects should be analyzed, such as energy efficiency, durability, the possibility of constructing such divisions, the impact on health conditions and ensuring the comfort of people in the building, fire safety, acoustics and the financial aspect. In the article, the authors analyze the issues related to energy efficiency and thermal and humidity processes in partitions. Other topics covered in this review article are the effects of partitions on the quality of the indoor environment.
