The paper presents the current knowledge on the development of rubbermaterial delivered fromrecycled car tyres in the world and our country. Discussed the legal conditions in Poland and the European Union for recycling rubber. Identifies ways of reuse car tyres, logistics and apply them in civil engineering in cooperation with geosynthetic materials.
