Projectmanagementmaturity is a very important element of the development of all enterprises.Many companies,while they use and work with project management methodology, very often do not achieve their project maturity. The aim of the conducted research is to indicate that construction companies in Poland and in England, though they use in management and everyday work, projectmaturitymethodologies they have not yet reached the level of excellence in this field. Recommendations regarding the possibility of increasing the company's design projectmanagement maturitywere also indicated.The survey concerned the assessment by employees of the projectmaturity of construction companies in which they work in Poland and in England. First of all, attention was paid to the issues related to the scope of activities undertaken
by enterprises as part of project activities and the use of information and knowledge resulting from project management in the enterprise. The research group, which received opinions on the project's organizationalmaturity, are the employees of the analyzed enterprises. 38 participants of construction projects participated in the research in the Polish enterprise. In the case of an English company, 33 employees involved in the implementation of construction projects participated in the research.
