The article presents the principles of design and construction of a three-layer wall due to proper ventilation of the inter-layer air cavity. Particular attention was paid to the necessity to leave ventilation slots, which are currently made with the use of ventilation and drainage boxes. As a case study, internal moisture problems were presented, one of the reasons for which was the inadequate execution of this part of the three- -layer wall.
