The article presents a steel joist consisting of two 300 PN I-beams combined with overlay and underlay plates and bolts. The joist demonstrated a changed geometry of the underlay plate in its supporting part.An embedded plate the joist should be amounted to in the supporting element was incorrectly fixed to a reinforced concrete element. The work shows the status after completing and attaching the joist as well as the proposed repair program for this element.
