Repairing damaged swimming pool basins requires the cooperation of all participants in the construction process and the use of as-built documentation or construction documentation. Repair works should be supported by an analysis of the current technical condition, possibilities of permanent removal of the causes of egradation and the possibility of applying traditional or new technologies to damaged substrates. The type and size of strengtheningworks should be anchored in the results of structural calculations taking into account the load ofmoisture, temperature, ground pressure and hydrostatic liquid. The current condition of rainwater and infiltration systems should also be taken into account, as well as the profile of the ground, which may be deformed during the life of the facility. The application of reinforcing and sealing materials should be carried out on the prepared for this purpose ground and in ambient conditions, strictly according to the instructions of the manufacturer and technology supplier.
