The article presents the results of experimental research, the purpose of which was to determine the possibilities and necessary conditions that must be met in the quantitative thermographic diagnostics of building partitions in real conditions. Strong variability of boundary conditions requires an extremely careful selection of measurement conditions. Since meteorological forecasting of climatic conditions longer than 24 hours is subject to high uncertainty, in order to obtain correct results, it is necessary to carry out measurements for a long period of time. The internal conditions in the building during the measurement are also of great importance. It is required to completely exclude the room from use and stabilize the thermal conditions inside. Regardless of the type of measurement method, infrared or heat flux transducer, it is not possible to quickly evaluate in-situ thermal resistance of existing buildings.
