An effective and reliable time and cost planning requires not only the knowledge about singular building processes but also scientifically developed methods, applicable to organizational decision-making problems. The present paper presents the idea of an interactive planning method that supports concrete works planning. The developed simulator enables the planner to update the availability of resources and both simulates building processes and analyses formwork utilization efficiency. In each step of the algorithm, the simulator informs about formwork utilization efficiency and generates queries to the decision-maker, who is able then to accept or withdraw his decision, if the efficiency is unsatisfactory.
