This paper deals with the selection of parameters for filtering of GPS signals for the detection of the displacements of the 300 m tall chimney in order to limit the influence of the background noise of GPS technology. After filtering of the signals the significant improvement of dynamic deformationsmonitoring accuracy is obtained.
