Comparison of experimental results of reinforced concrete beams strengthened in shear with numerical analysis

The article presents a comparison of experimental research conducted on RC beams strengthened in a shear using composite materials and numerical analysis made in ABAQUS environment. Research has been conducted on beams with different strengthening construction. Variable parameter was the width of the strips.The values of deflections measured during the test with the values obtained from numerical calculations and failure mechanisms were compared.
