The usable difficulties connected with exploitation of the steel telescopic tribune

In the paper usable difficulties connected with excessive displacements of the steel telescopic tribune in the Earth Hall on the Poznan International Fair area were discussed. The structure and the principle of operation of steel telescopic tribunes were described. The results of numerical analysis, which pointed out too low stiffness of structure during the acting of horizontal forces, were presented. The implement effective structure solution, which decreased immeasurably values of horizontal displacements, was described.
