This article presents the practical application of two NDT methods for detecting internal defects in concrete: the Impulse- Response (IR) method for quickly locating defects and the Impact-Echo (IE) method for precisely identifying them. The research demonstrated the complementarity of both methods: the ability to examine large surfaces of a structure (IR) while maintaining high accuracy in identifying detected defects (IE) and significantly reducing the number of destructive tests.

W artykule przedstawiono praktyczne zastosowanie dwóch metod NDT do wykrywania wad wewnętrznych betonu – metody Impulse-Response (IR) do szybkiego lokalizowania miejsc z wadami oraz metody Impact-Echo (IE) do ich precyzyjnej identyfikacji. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały komplementarność obu zastosowanych metod – możliwość przebadania dużych powierzchni konstrukcji (IR), przy zachowaniu wysokiej dokładności w określeniu wykrytych wad (IE) oraz znacznego ograniczenia ilości badań niszczących.
