The paper presents the problem of the stabilization of the foundation of the absorption column, which is founded on a spread foundation in alluvial soils. The behaviour of the structure and operating installations (vibrations, cyclic loading, temperature, etc.), in existing ground conditions, caused the uneven settlement of the foundation and inclination of the column. As a remediation method, strengthening of the foundation with micropiles and low-pressure grouting was used.
