This article presents the problem of anchoring of steel masts on existing reinforced concrete and wooden building elements. In the design process, many strength conditions must be checked. The paper will show example of analytical calculation and numerical analysis made in the ABAQUS / CAE application for mast – roof joints and wood floor element for comparison, illustrating the effect of anchoring on a structural element of a building.
