Modern visual devices, such as videoscopes, allow visual inspection of the construction and layers of building partitions in a non-invasive or minimally invasive way. They are an important suplement to the traditional excavation of the structure. The diagnostic work on the floors described in the article carried out in the continuous functioning hospital shows that expert work does not have to involve the breake in the functioning of the building.

Keywords: videoscope; non-invasive; identification of material and construction.
