authors have analysed defects identified during taking possession of 172 new apartments focusing mainly on statistical analysis of input data. The analysis has determined if the data is characterized by a normal distribution as well as average number of defects in particular group of flats. Additionally the article aimto identify the average cost of a single repair – 44,98 PLN based on the valuation. The authors calculated also the average cost of removing defects from an apartment, this amounted to 463,39 PLN.
