This paper presents progress of national standardization in building acoustics. European and international PN-EN and PN-EN ISO standards are considered separately from national PN standard. Standards PN-EN and PN-EN ISO detail measurement and calculation procedures. National PN standards define requirements for acoustical properties of buildings and building materials. Also a review of CEN and ISO committees’ agenda is
presented, regarding newdocuments and revisions of measurement and calculation procedures in line with the progress of knowledge.
