Geopolymers are not new materials in construction. Nowadays, in era of seeking for new ecological and more effective structural materials, geopolymers attracted attention of the researchers.Modern concrete-likematerials, not using cement but waste materials, may become interesting alternative to concrete. Despite of numerous research programmes on geopolymers, very few of themfocuses onmechanical properties of such materials. That is why authors of this paper decided to initialize research program on geopolymer’s mechanical properties to use it then for building numerical material model. Concrete model has been adopted and obtained results may be considered as promising.
