Analysis of stresses and strains in the masonry zone under the window. Wall tests

The article presents the results of the study of wall models in natural scale, with two window openings. The results were analyzed in comparison with the previously published models of spandrel walls. Based on the analysis of the stressstrain graphs, it was found that the horizontal stress in the area under the window is approximately 0,2 N/mm2
