This paper presents a safety analysis of a turbofan set RC frame foundation located in a mining area. The foundation has been loaded with the dynamic excitation generated by the parts of the rotating fans and additionally with a seismically induced impacts resulting from mining tremors. The natural frequencies of the foundation as well as the degree of strain of the foundation’s members and its safety under dynamic impacts were evaluated.

Keywords: frame foundation, turbo ventilator, induced seismicity.
