Acoustic properties assessment of open space type area

Issues of spaces open area climate include development of appropriate acoustic conditions necessary to receive spoken text in these areas, as well as providing the degree of intimacy of the talks. The presentedmethod in the article allows to clarify and increase the transparency of criteria for assessing the acoustic climate of open space area, indicates the need for acoustic treatment solutions such spaces as such: offices, conference rooms etc. and shows potential hazards affecting the acoustical environment in the premises. The presented method shows how the architectural and acoustical parameters can be selected so that the acoustical quality of the room is suitable for the workplace.
