Acoustic conditions in open space offices depend on an architectural design, space arrangement, sound absorption of building materials and some other technical solutions. However, obtaining good acoustic conditions, which are defined in the ISO 3382-3 standard by suggested examples of target values for evaluation [8], is rather difficult. To achieve these values, sometimes special measures are proposed, which are some what controversial, because they influence not only acoustic parameters, but also functionality and working conditions. As the acoustic conditions in open space offices should refer to their actual function, a quality classification should be developed rather than just threshold target values. Proposal for open space offices evaluation needs steel some in-depth discussion.
