The role of scientific and technical research in the context of the cooperation of the company and the technical university

The realization of investments in the area of industrial building requires from the contractor knowledge and experience that extends far beyond the standard framework of university education. To meet the demands, the optimal solution for the company is to establish permanent cooperation with the technical university. This paper shows the effects of many years of cooperation of scientific and technical nature between the private company and the technical university in the area of industrial building, mainly in the field modernization of the cooling towers and chimneys. Presented important results of the analysis of two problems: the problem of aerodynamics interaction wind pressure on a group of cooling towers and the problem of exhaust in the technology of wet desulfurization.
